CBOT March wheat last traded up 1-1/2 cents at $5.19-1/4 per bushel. K.C. March hard red winter wheat was last up 1-1/2 cents at $5.06-1/2 a bushel and MGEX March spring wheat was last up 4-1/4 cents at $5.71-1/2.
CORN Up 1 to 3 cents per bushel
Corn seen firming slightly on technical buying following two days of mild setbacks. Support noted when prices closed above 50-day moving average on Tuesday and held above that level during overnight trading.
CBOT March corn last traded up 1-1/2 cents at $3.81-1/2 per bushel.
Soyabeans Up 2 to 4 cents per bushel
Soybeans firming on optimism about US-China trade after talks between government representatives from the two countries lasted a day longer than scheduled. Gains kept in check as traders await for details of what was agreed to at the meeting.
Ted McKinney, US under secretary of agriculture for trade and foreign agricultural affairs said the US trade delegation would return to the United States later on Wednesday after a "good few days".
The CBOT reported 1,142 January soybean deliveries.
CBOT January soyameal deliveries totalled 510 contracts and January soyaoil deliveries totalled 251 contracts.
